When my kids were little, the idea of them going to college and doing the sorts of things adults do, well, it seemed SO very far away. This time thing is really tripping with my head these day. One thing after another, indications of passages...both my own and of those around me.
Julian will be entering his senior year in high school in the fall. He's got a job this summer...he's going to Europe with the Jazzschool band...he and his girlfriend noted 6 months of being together yesterday with a picnic in the park. I'm happy for him. But it's still a transition for me too...he, being my baby after all...a little disconcerting and certainly bittersweet.
Etsy update: 2 previous cyanotype wall plaques are back up in my shop . More to come as soon as my glass is cut and I can begin producing them again. Keep on the lookout for the "kitchen series."
You know I feel you on this...even though I'm a few years behind.
Yes, "this time thing" is really messing with my head too. :)
