I got caught up in the light coming through the windows this morning. Since my house sits among so many trees, it's often months in between any direct sunshine filtering its way inside. When this finally happens, I stop in my tracks. It's a muse, this light. And what I noticed early today, working within a short time frame to record this phenomena, is that it brings me directly into the moment. I don't think about anything else. The creative energy that the situation inspires is something I crave and something that doesn't seem to happen that frequently right now. So when conditions conspire to bring this about, it provides me with a rush that seems to say, "See? There is something to feel good about!"
