The Third Act

Blossoms...

After a conversation on Facebook...about Flickr (with multiple old timers chiming in since it's Flickr's 10 year anniversary today and many of us have been on board since some time in that first year)...and with all the plum tree blossoms just about peaked out...I had some creative fun!  As far as the Flickr conversation went, we all agreed that the site, and our interaction, has been critical for our creative growth.  We all seemed to find our tribe and to this day continue to keep in contact (many of us having met in RL).  So, I got the urge to produce some work and used the blossoms...and my skeleton...and my own body.  I'm now one package (or nearly so) shorter of my fuji3000b which is being discontinued (the image at left is with Instagram, however).

 

 

 

If you would ask...

...I would tell you I'm doing well.  Not great, you know, but hanging in there.  I'd say that life is up and down, you know?  I'd say that I'm learning a lot. 

I'd probably not share the fact that at times I feel a psychic split...that there are two very distinct mindsets which sometimes occupy my headspace at the same time.  When one's on top, the other more demon based attitude has very skillful ways of pulling the rug out from underneath my positivity. 

It's not an easy time...and I hope I can maintain my sanity (I know that I can, but it often doesn't feel that way).

San Francisco Bay

Point Isabel is only about a mile from my house.  When out for a walk, I climb the hills a bit and can see the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.  If the sky happens to be particularly interesting, and the opportunity is there, I'll head down to stroll along the water.  Over last weekend the area had finally gotten some much needed rain and the sky was painted with ominous yet lovely clouds.
