Lomo Instant
For Christmas, Julian gave me a Lomo Instant camera that uses the small size Instax film. It took me until a couple days ago to finally put in some batteries and load it with film!
It's a delightful little tool. I really like the option to shoot with different apertures, long exposures, flash off and multi exposures. The print size is pretty small, about 2 x 3 inches, so I'm interested in different ways to incorporate the photos into larger pieces of artwork.

Whole lotta images...
Well, I'm just about done editing all my film scans from December. Trips to NYC, and San Francisco for Christmas, provided lots of good subject matter. I'm going to post a smattering here, but if you'd like to see more you could head over to my Flickr . It seems like a number of them should be placed on my website too, perhaps in a new category. For now, though, I'm happy to have gotten through (or almost through) the lot of them. It was a jam packed month. Funny thing, I'm sitting here not even considering that there's another entire month that has passed in between then and now...yeow! There goes that time thing again.
I'll add that I have also made a set of black and white pinhole images in January, some of which I'm very pleased with as well (and can be seen over at my Flickr). For now, though, here are a selection of these latest.
