Yay! Okay, perhaps I get far too excited by this. But...I delight in some successful pinhole and toy cam film. My color pinholes from pinhole day are fun, as well as my Holgas from Longwood gardens. Sharing to follow below!
In other news, I'm gearing up for a spontaneous trip across country tomorrow. Maybe I should have my head examined (well, I'll not state the obvious and am continually in the process of that!), but I'm going to spend two days traveling to spend a couple days in the bay area and see my mom. Plus I'll get to see one of my own kids too! Anyway, my mom is ninety-nine and no one else had the opportunity to be with her this Mother's Day. I thought just giving her company could be the best gift . And...I don't like to not be with family on this day. I realize it's a questionable, made up kind of holiday, but it's always about the connection and company of those I love that makes any holiday special for me.
I've certainly experienced some stress over making this decision, and am kind of buzzing about it still (my default procedure is to deliberate and plan far in advance for something like this). But, that part is just something to note and not attach to. It's just part of my nature and I don't need to let it overwhelm me. I look forward to the adventure!
