It feels like summer today...in the best possible ways. Low humidity, no violent storms and the mosquitoes haven't quite ramped up their numbers yet. I expect to start seeing fireflies soon. The crickets and night noises are sounding in good form as well. While we're currently attaining drought status, it's sort of nice to have finally dried out after a couple very wet years. On the flip side, that means lots of time spent watering the garden (there are certainly more onerous tasks).
