My friend Kathy came to my house and stayed a couple nights last month. It was her first chance to see my place. We had a great time just hanging out, me showing her my favorite haunts (and visiting some new ones).
Kathy and I met on Flickr around 2005 I'd say. The first we met in person was when I visited northern VA in 2006. I love that I have so many continued long friendships which began on that site. Ask anyone about those early days and they'll tell you how creatively and personally transformative they were (at least the folks that I know).
Anyway, bring photo peeps together and the cameras come out, naturally. Here we have Kathy taking a picture of me, taking a picture of her. Analog and digital, coexisting quite comfortably together!!
