The fog has shown up for the first time this visit. It’s actually kind of nice…familiar.
Yesterday was delightful, with many hours spent visiting with both my kids and son in law. It’s just the infusion of family I’ve been needing. We had lunch together in Fruitvale, then a visit to Laurel & Joshua’s house where I got a glimpse of their garden (always a delight to visit gardens), then a hike into the hills near their house. On the way back to SF, we stopped for ice cream (which I’ve been craving and haven’t had in several months). The kids and I then had dinner and more visiting at The Morris in SF. I slept pretty well last night after all that.
Today, at this moment the fog hangs low, but I believe will burn off eventually. I think we’ll drive out to the ocean. A visit with the Pacific…another thing I’ve been craving! Oh, and maybe a stop in Japantown.
