The garden has been generous this year. Lots of cucumbers, plenty of squash, eggplant and tomatoes, as well as some peppers and snap beans. I'm not glutted by veggies, but I've had enough to share and be able to ferment some. This makes me happy.
This climate and my particular lot are not always easy to garden. But we (the garden and I) work together and that's the best. The sustenance I gain from the plants is not only physical, but emotional and spiritual. It makes me happy to see other people gardening too. This is an important skill and act, for so many reasons.
(the last of my Instax film...will need to re supply)
