Well, the roof is done...hurray! Isn't that weird...when you get to a certain age you celebrate things like a new roof or a working refrigerator? Anyway, glad that's done...on to the next thing (pick from the list!)?
I treated my film a with a bit more delicacy this round. It seems to have helped with the scratch problem that was happening on the negatives. I don't know...the Fomapan I've been using (because it's actually somewhat affordable), feels a lot thinner than the Ilford film which was my go to for years. Right now I'm still mostly practicing. It's been a very long time since I shot and processed film with any regularity. The next big hurdle would be to put the enlarger together again (how long have I been saying that?).
It's an overcast day...in fact it's quite dark at just 3pm so there are surely storms happening somewhere. But it's muggy...like summer. Once there's a day with extended sunshine, I'll return to making cyanotypes.
I'm grateful for whatever is driving this shift back into creative work again.
