I walked down to Pony Pasture park a few days ago. There was something I wanted to do there...an esoteric practice, intention, asking of a question. Anyway, I still had some black and white film in the Holga so I took it along. The more I work with film (again), the more I want to keep doing it...even when my results are mediocre. There's a lot of open shutter movement in a couple of these...yes, that's intentional. It seems even when I'm not shooting pinhole I think about how I shoot pinhole.
In other news...I coated a couple large sheets of paper with cyanotype sensitizer yesterday. I have an idea for a couple more prints. I thought was going to do that today...but I got sidetracked. It's going to get really hot over the next few days and the garden needed more mulch (especially where there are some young plants). So, I spent those early hours doing that (I had to go get straw first). After that, I needed a second shower for the day. It's not that hot out right now but ridiculously humid (as it gets here in the mid-Atlantic). I'm just glad I had these negatives to work with since I knew the cyanos were going to wait.
