I have to say, the Lomo'Instant I've used for the mini film has been pretty consistent. It doesn't have the controls the wide film version has, but it also doesn't have the same issues with the feed. I think I'm done with the wide version and will just use the mini until I can raise the funds for a MintRF70 . Lomo would probably offer to replace the camera I have if I went through the hoops it takes to do so (actually, it wouldn't be that hard and they've been pretty good about it before). I hate the waste, though, on different levels. Perhaps it's time I upped my game.
The fact that this smaller camera can fit in a pocket is pretty sweet. It makes it easy to carry along pretty much anywhere.
In other creative news, I heated a tray of encaustic medium that has been sitting idle for many months. I'm making a garland with fall leaves, dipping them in the wax first. The coating of medium gives the leaves a bit more substance for stringing. If it turns out nicely, there will be pictures! It feels good to get my hands going on a project again. I would like this to be the norm. As per usual, I'm just working on the stuff (emotional/psychological) that tends to get in my way.
