It'd been a couple weeks since I last took a walk through Pony Pasture Park. Yesterday was cool, a bit gray, but dry so Avery I headed down there. I slipped my Lomo'Instant (mini) into a small bag, intending to make a handful of instant photos. The surroundings did not disappoint.
There were many trees that had been cut up, after falling in all the instances of strong winds and heavy rains (over the past year). The turkey tail mushrooms that I discovered last time I walked through the park, had pretty much dried up and were doing what nature does. Daffodils were blooming, though, a sweet harbinger of what's to come.
Today is cold and rainy. The wood stove has a warm fire going and it's a wonderful time to work on scanning a few of yesterday's images.
