I've been working on my daily schedule. But I have to admit, it's been a challenge. My body, even after enough sleep (well, hours in bed anyway), just wants to stay under the covers. I've still managed to get myself up between 6 and 6:45 for several mornings, though. Weirdly it's gotten harder not easier. I'm also doing a short yoga/body movement routine after my shower and my body isn't used to that yet (translation: I'm still stiff!). So...yeah...just trying to use discipline to push through it. You may wonder why (and I sometimes do too). Ultimately, I feel better about the day in general if it starts this way.
These sunny mornings are quite glorious. It rained again overnight so everything is colorful and fresh. I've been pulling this chair on the front porch into the sun to sit and have my tea. It's almost like an extended part of my (very brief) meditation. This morning was still chilly so I bundled up in my jacket, hood over my head. No complaints.
