I remember on Flickr when there was a "day in the life" activity on the equinoxes and solstices. I don't think that remained a thing for more than a year or so. But it stayed with me. It was fun to see how people went about their day with more than a snapshot or two. Of course now, the world of photo sharing (if you can call it that) has changed dramatically. It can be simultaneously TMI and yet far less intimate and real.
Lately I've felt the inspiration to do more shooting (finally!). It's a wave that's arisen and I'm doing my best to ride it as long as I can (hopefully making it my new normal again). I decided I would switch to a larger bag (other than what would hold my cards and phone) to carry along a couple cameras wherever I went. Since the Holga has gotten my attention recently, that's one I had with me yesterday, along with the Lomo'Instant mini. I made pictures of a couple activities during the day (going to and from therapy, and taking Avery for a walk). The thing I'm really trying to do is make the processing seem easier, more fluid. The more I do it...hopefully the less of a mind block I'll throw about it.
And because film costs money, I really need to make an effort to sell some of my creations. I've tea toned one set of autumn flags and will be working on the other. The second one I'm going to alternate tea tone pieces and blue(cyanotype color) pieces. I'll post with the deets when I finish them up.
A few from a day in my life yesterday (going to therapy...which is actually a really positive thing for me and not as dark as the photos may indicate!)...Holga with Kentmere400 film...
